ApeBlocks is a generative digital art project on ApeChain. Its inaugural collection explores the tension between structure and randomness through algorithmic compositions, colour and the ApeChain visual language.

ApeBlocks 1.0 takes a cue from Georg Nees’s Schotter (“Gravel”), a landmark work in the early history of computer art. Each piece is a unique iteration generated by code and then selected for the collection.
